Who is this Trip For?
This trip is designed for you to capture beautiful images of the abundant waterfalls in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge. This trip will be targeted at improving your landscape photography skills, thinking and learning about composition, and how to capture images of stunning waterfalls and streams. This workshop will be a small group workshop. The maximum number of participants will be 4. This will allow me to work with you on a more personal level.
We will also spend time in regions known for abundant wildflowers at this time of the year. We'll work again to maximize the landscape opportunities.
The group will also have opportunities for individualized post processing work using LightRoom and/or Photoshop. Keith is a recognized expert in digital post processing and regularly teaches classes and consults in these areas.
The workshop group will be staying in Cascade Locks Oregon for ultimate convenience to the photographic opportunities.
You need to be aware that we will be hiking each day of this trip. Waterfalls by their very nature have some elevation changes. The longest hike will likely be approximately 2 miles one way. The hikes are rated as easy to moderate in any hiking guide that you find. If you would have difficulty with hiking any distance or hiking uphill or downhill, or if you are concerned with hiking on either rough or slippery terrain, this may not be the trip for you. You will also be carrying your camera gear (most likely in a photo backpack) that will add to your load while hiking. I want you to be completely comfortable on the trip but you will be hiking!!
The workshop dates are FULL DAY sessions April 17 - April 19. The Workshop ends after our morning shoot on April 20th. You should plan on arriving in Cascade locks on April 16.
Dates: April 17, 2018 - April 20, 2018
